HOW TO CREATE FORM 2-B IN TALLY.ERP9

  • OPEN TALLY PROGRAM
  • SELECT YOUR COMPANY
  • GO TO GATE WAY OF TALLY
  • SELECT DISPLAY
  • SELECT STATUTORY REPORTS
  • SELECT VAT
  • SELECT ‘E.VAT ANNEXURES’
  • SELECT FORM 2-B
  • SELECT EXPORT
  • AFTER YOU SELECT ‘EXPORT’ TALLY WILL ASK YOU ‘YES’ OR ‘NO’. HERE YOU SELECT ‘NO’
  • NOW FILL UP THE DETAILS AS REQUIRED BY TALLY AS UNDER :-
    • EXPORT LOCATION PRESS ‘ENTER KEY’
    • OUTPUT FILE NAME – PRESS ‘ENTER KEY’
    • UPDATE EXISTING FILE ‘YES’
    • EXCEL (SPREAD SHEET) FORMATTING  ‘YES’
    • WITH COLOR ‘YES OR NO’ WHAT EVER YOU LIKE
    • OPEN EXPORT FILE ‘YES’
    • QUARTERLY ‘YES’
    • MENTION PERIOD OF QUARTER i.e. FROM …..   TO      ……
    • PRINT WITH RETURN ‘YES OR NO’ WHAT EVER IS YOUR REQUIREMENT
    • CONSOLIDATE URD VALUE ‘YES’
NOTES:
  1. Form 2-B is used in Delhi only for VAT purpose
  2. Form 2-B shows the details of all the LOCAL SALES for a particular period
  3. Form 2-B is submitted to the Sales Tax Authority along with the Sales Tax Return
  4. Form 2-B file is created in Tally directory.
  5. Please note that all existing matter of Form 2-B file must be deleted before using above commands.

NOTES:

HOW TO SEE THE DETAILS OF C FORM RECEIVABLE IN TALLY.ERP9

  1. Open tally
  2. Under ‘Gateway of Tally’, select ‘Display’
  3. Under ‘Display’ Select ‘Statutory Reports’
  4. Under ‘Statutory Reports’ Select ‘CST’
  5. Under ‘CST’ Select ‘Form Receivable’
  6. Now on screen option will be available like ‘group or ledger. Under this option select ‘Ledger’
  7. Now, the name of the parties shall appear on the screen.  Select the name of party from whom you have to receive the ‘C Form’
  8. Select the period for which the ‘C’ forms are to be received. Please note that the C Forms are to be received on quarterly basis i.e. 1st April to 30the June, 1st July to 30th September, 1st October to 31stDecember and 1st Jan to 31st March.
  9. Now the details will appear bill-wise for the particular quarter but totals of all bill amounts during that particular quarter shall not appear. To get the totals of all bill amounts, press ‘F12’ (configure). Now a screen showing ‘Configuration’ shall appear. In this screen two questions shall appear. (a) Show all vouchers – you have to fill up ‘Yes’ (b) Show vouchers of – you have to fill up ‘C Forms’. Now, total of all bills shall appear.
  10. Select the print command to take the print out of the details of ‘C’ form receivable from a particular party.

HOW TO SEE THE DETAILS OF C FORM ISSUABLE IN TALLY.ERP9

  1. Open tally
  2. Under ‘Gateway of Tally’, select ‘Display’
  3. Under ‘Display’ Select ‘Statutory Reports’
  4. Under ‘Statutory Reports’ Select ‘CST’
  5. Under ‘CST’ Select ‘Form Issuable’
  6. Now on screen option will be available like ‘group or ledger. Under this option select ‘Ledger’
  7. Now, the name of the parties shall appear on the screen.  Select the name of party whom you have to issue the ‘C Form’

HOW TO DELETE UNIT OF MEASURE IN TALLY

To delete unit of measure under Inventory Maintenance in tally, the following procedure is to be followed:-
  • Open the Company in which you want to delete the unit of measure. For example, we want to delete some unit of measure in M/s XYZ Limited. So, we will open M/S XYZ Limited.
  • Select ‘Inventory Information’ under ‘Gateway of Tally’. Now your screen shall be seen as under:-
  •  Now, select ‘Alter’. Here, you will see the list of units created by you. The screen at this stage shall be as under:-
  •  From the above list you find that you have created a unit by mistake and that unit is ‘Liter’. Now, you want to delete the liter from the list of units. You just select the ‘Liter’.
  • Now, you can see the complete detail of ‘Liter’.
  • Now press ‘Alt + D’ keys. The following screen shall appear after this command:-

  • Finally, Tally asks you ‘Yes or No’. Just wait for a moment and be sure that you want to delete the selected units only. If it is correct then press ‘Y’ key otherwise press ‘N’.
Note: Please note that if you have done any entry under any unit, you can not delete that unit unless all the entries under that unit are deleted.

HOW TO DELETE STOCK ITEM IN TALLY

To delete the stock items under Inventory Maintenance in tally, the following procedure is to be followed:-
  • Open the Company in which you want to alter the unit of measure. For example, we want to alter some unit of measure in M/s XYZ Limited. So, we will open M/S XYZ Limited.
  • Select ‘Inventory Information’ under ‘Gateway of Tally’. Now your screen shall be seen as under:-
Select ‘Stock Item’. At this stage your screen will appear as under:-
  •  Now, select ‘Alter’. Now the screen shall be seen in the following forms:-
  • From the list, suppose you want to delete ‘Cloth Shoes’ to then select ‘Cloth Shoes’.  Press ‘Alt + D’. Now your screen will be seen as under:-
Finally Tally asks you ‘Yes or No’. Here, please wait for a moment and make sure that every thing is correct. If it is correct then press ‘Y’ otherwise press ‘N’. Like this, you can delete any stock item.
Note: Please note that no stock item can be deleted if any entry under that item is pending in tally. It means to delete any stock item, first you have to delete all entries covered by that stock item then only you can delete the stock item.

HOW TO CHECK STOCK ITEM IN TALLY

To check stock items under Inventory Maintenance in tally, the following procedure is to be followed:-
  • Open the Company in which you want to delete the unit of measure. For example, we want to delete some unit of measure in M/s XYZ Limited. So, we will open M/S XYZ Limited.
  • Select ‘Inventory Information’ under ‘Gateway of Tally’. Now your screen shall be seen as under:-
  •  Select ‘Stock Item’. At this stage your screen will appear as under:-
  •  Now, select ‘Display’. Now the screen shall be seen in the following forms.
  •  From the list of items you can select one by one and check the details whether every thing is correct or no.  For example from above, we select item ‘Cloth Shoes (Siz-6)’ then the screen will appear as under:-

Now check every thing and make sure that every detail is correct. Like this, you can check other items also.
